As you may have seen at the end of our post on the Ofsted/CQC one year on report, we’re delighted to tell you that this Wednesday, we will be hosting a Facebook chat with Ofsted about the latest developments with the inspections of SEND provision in England.
You will be able to ask questions about the SEND inspections – 30 out of 152 done so far – that Ofsted have carried out with the Care Quality Commission to evaluate how local areas are fulfilling their responsibilities for SEND provision.
Ofsted inspect three things: how well local areas are identifying children with special educational needs or disabilities, how well they are meeting those needs and how they are improving the life chances for those children.
The answers
From 7pm, Ofsted will start answering your questions so be ready to ask more questions and any follow ups you may think of.
