A shout-out for a an event for rare disease patient groups and for professionals interested in the field.
Findacure Midlands Networking Event
On 22nd of October, Birmingham Children Hospital is hosting The Midlands Rare Disease Showcase event aimed at professionals, patient organisations and pharmaceutical companies.
The day-log event, run by the Findacure Foundation is to celebrate progress in the rare disease sector in the heart of England. It's aimed at fostering collaborations between rare disease patient groups and their professional counterparts.
If you are a member or representative of a rare disease patient group or are involved in a professional capacity, and are interested in attending, do sign up.
By bringing together a range of patient groups, pharmaceutical and biotech companies, clinicians and researchers, we hope to inspire new, innovative and lasting collaborations to the benefit of rare disease patients across the UK.
I will be there, along with SNJ columnist, Marguerite Haye with a stand, we're delighted to say.
