A very quick post to tell you about something we're really pleased about: our SNJ Flow Charts that we produced in collaboration with the Department for Education have been included in the latest official SEND reform information packs compiled by Mott MacDonald, the organisation managing the changes for the government.
The SEND Pathfinder site houses all the documents relating to the reform, so it's packed with information although it's a little uninspiring, visually speaking. But if you're interested in reading up on the developments of the reforms and all its aspects including the Local Offer, Personal Budgets, EHCP development, Joint Commissioning and family engagement, you should take a look. It's really a portal to almost everywhere you need to go to understand the background and intricacies of the reforms. I would definitely recommend taking some time to browse if you'd like to know more.
Although we produced them as a co-produced project, Mott were under no obligation to include them in an information pack so we're delighted they have an it's something nice at the end of a difficult week.
To find our little contribution, visit this page for Appendix 8.
Of course to see the flow charts on our site and download them as images or as pdfs, visit this link and they are all linked from there.
